SAMHAIN FULL BLUE MOON

A rare Samhain full blue moon, it's the second full moon in October and a rare occasion that we get a full moon directly on Samhain itself, the last time we had a Samhain full moon was in 1944.





While this full moon will likely make us feel more day-dreamy, our mind is naturally drawn toward the darker and more mysterious pieces in life around this time. It is believed that the veils between worlds are at their thinnest. We are halfway between the autumn equinox and the winter solstice, a turning point in the season when we prepare for the cool months and shorter days.


As the full moon and Uranus unite in a powerful conjunction, the sun in Scorpio glows in opposition. We enter the shadows of the underworld to tap hidden sources of power.
